My Favorite Things in March

Favorite Things in March

1.  The Original Beauty Blender. I have been eyeing this for a while and tried one of the cheaper imitation ones and it just didn’t work. My husband talked me in to biting the bullet on this one and I LOVE it. It’s so great for blending my concealer and I know in the summer it will be PERFECT for applying my CC Cream!

2. Rubbermaid Lunch Blox. This has been a life-saver for packing my lunch for work. These 4 containers snap together on an icepack in between the layers and it’s awesome!

3. Bebe Stone, Horn and Long Pendant.  I saw this in the  spring catalogue and knew I had to have it, when I saw how cheap it was it was an added bonus! I think I might file off the rings on the side of the gold circle and put it on a longer, thinner chain but it’s perfect for summer.

4. Callaway XHot Iron Set. I have been using my grandma’s hand-me-down clubs since I started golfing in high school. My parents and my mother-in-law got us a membership to one of the golf courses here for Christmas so I figured it was time to upgrade. I can’t wait for it to be warm enough so we can start golfing!!

5. The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. I had never watched the Tonight Show before so I don’t have anything to compare it to but I am LOVING it now. We tape it each night and always can’t wait to watch it. I think he is hilarious and I love how he brings out the best in the guests… a def must-watch!

6. Dead Sea Salt Mineral Face Mask. I used to use this in high-school and forgot all about it. It’s just from WalMart and it’s super cheap but it’s great! I brush it on with a foundation brush and leave it on for about an hour, usually once a week… it does wonders for my skin!

7. Quinoa. I was a fan of quinoa before most people knew what it was and I have to say, I’m still loving it. Just this past week we made quinoa chili and kale & quinoa patties!

8.Philosophy Microdelivery Peel. Speaking of great for your skin, this stuff is incredible. I use this once a month {and have been for years} and it’s perfect for coming out of winter when your skin is so dry. It removes a layer of skin leaving it smooth and even. You have to do it a few times to get the exact time you need {they say 1-2 minutes which is not enough, but if you leave it too long it really will burn your face}, my perfect time is 7 minutes.

9. Sam Smith ‘Make It To Me’ Single. Now that I am working out of the house at the Bills on weekdays, I spend all weekend working on the blog. On Sundays I trying to pack in as much work as I can up in my office and my husband {yes, I know how amazing he is} takes care of cleaning the house. He sends me texts and says “I dedicate this song to you” and he’ll play in on our apple TV and this past weekend it was this song. We had watched Sam on SNL the night before and loved him… this song is AMAZING! I can’t stop listening to it. His cd comes out in May and I can’t wait for it.

10. Philosophy Hope in a Jar for Dry Skin. I use their Miracle Worker during the winter because I need something heavy duty but I just replaced my empty jar with this for the rest of the year. This stuff is great and perfect if you’re like me and have dry skin. It moisturizes great while feeling light, it’s perfect!

11. Kashi Dark Almond Mocha Bars. These are SO good. Dark chocolate, almonds, espresso & chia seeds… it’s a perfect mid-afternoon pick me up!

12. Clear Eyes Redness Relief Drops. I don’t know what it is but my eyes get SO dry while I’m at work, the air must be very dry! I have never used eye drops before but these do the trick on days when they’re burning dry!

13. Tazo Zen Teas. I had mentioned Stash White Christmas tea on a previous list and I have to say this is the upgraded version of that! This green tea has peppermint and is my afternoon treat during the workday.

14. Milkbone Granola Dog Biscuits. The dogs love these and they’re hard to please!

15. Crest 3D White Luxe Toothpaste. We have always used Crest 3D white toothpaste but they last time we ran out I decided to try this and I gotta say, I notice a big difference! It’s worth the couple extra bucks!

16. The Amazing Race All-Stars. My mom has always watched the Amazing Race but I had only seen a few episodes here and there. We started watching the newest season and we are so in to it! We are rooting for the father/son team and the globetrotters!

17. Bucheron Cheese. OMG. This is like Brie cheese but a million times more amazing, it’s incredible!

18. Springing Forward. Walking out of work and not having it be dark out is everything right now!

19. One Tree Hill. I am on my 100th time of watching this series and it never gets old!

20. Mr Coffee Coffe Maker. Our coffee maker bit the dust a couple weekends ago and we decided to replace it with this one. We didn’t spend a ton of money on it and we weren’t sure how we’d like it… it’s awesome!
