Video Craft: Clay Imprinted Ornaments

Clay Imprinted Ornaments Hanging

I have seen a lot of salt dough recipes for ornaments online and after looking into a lot of them I realized the dough didn’t work for most people. I had some of the lightweight clay left from my leaf statement necklace and decided that would be perfect for making ornaments. It’s air-dry {low maintenance} and lightweight so it works well on our tree without weighing down the boughs. The ornaments are imprinted with lace, fabric, jewelry, etc to give a big wow factor and then stamped with letters to say whatever you like! They can be painted or left white, hung on the tree or given as gifts… you could even use them as gift tags!

You can find the lightweight clay here, though I found it at Joann’s.

You can find the paint here, I used classic gold and silver for these.

You can find the metal stamping set here, I’ve seen these at Joann’s also.
