I actually started making these before I did the iPhone/iPod sleeves, but I had to play around with the pattern and make a few changes from the original (which I found here) so it took me longer to get the tutorial to you! These are great because not only do they fit all generations of the iPad, they fit other eReaders as well. The finished specs for this are 10.5″ x 8″ so check the size of your eReader against this one to make sure it will fit… if not adjusting the size of the pieces slightly is all you’ll have to do! These have a zipper that gives you access to a full front pocket that is lined and then the whole case is also lined with another lining that is stabilized with heavyweight interfacing. There’s a strap for the top that secures with velcro giving the whole thing a polished look. I had fun playing around with different colors and patterns to gives these all a unique look and I hope you do too! As always… if you don’t sew or don’t have the time, I have made extras which are available for purchase in my Etsy shop! I made these to match the iPhone/iPod sleeves so be sure to check those out as well! Also, check the bottom of my post to see the publication of a cool project I’ve been working on with one of the top newspapers in Singapore! Click here to see more pics and get the tutorial!
